Dublin City Council approved two funding requests submitted for the spring 2026 Beautify Your Neighborhood Grant program.
The Beautify Your Neighborhood Matching Grant Program, established in 2011, annually provides financial assistance to Dublin Homeowners Associations and Civic Associations to enhance neighborhoods with high-quality beautification projects. These efforts help further enhance the overall Dublin community.
Since the program’s inception, City staff have partnered with numerous neighborhood associations to identify potential beautification projects and assist with the application process. Eligible projects may include enhancements such as updated entry features with new signage and lighting, refreshed landscape beds, benches, removal of invasive plant species and public art installations, among others.
Sheffield Meadows
- $4,772.92 was granted to improve the entry features at two primary neighborhood entries: the Avery Road and Wynford Road entrances, and the Muirfield Drive and Dublinshire Drive entrances. These improvements include the installation of several dogwood trees and shrubs.
Village at Tuttle Crossing
- $622.50 is approved to enhance the condominium’s entryway/gateway at Locbury Lane. Plans include placement of a variety of plants, including hostas, day lilies, junipers, boxwoods and lily turf.
Pre-applications for fall 2026 grants are due Friday, May 29. Applicants must complete a BYNG Pre-Application to determine whether their project is eligible for the program. For more information, including application requirements, eligibility, checklist and grant process, click here.
The applications were approved by Council during the April 13, 2026, meeting.
